WRITING, WRITING AND WRITING

I launched my website nearly five years ago and can’t believe how the time has flown. The last few years, in particular, have been all things writing. Writing for work, writing for school and writing for… well, me.
Regarding work, I transferred to another team in early 2023 and transferred back to my original team in December 2025, as the organization is undergoing a transformation. Have you ever experienced a massive change in a business? I’m not going to lie; it’s quite the ride. It has ups and downs and could be thoroughly exhausting (on the psyche, of course).
What I discovered over the course of this transformation is that school helped me immensely. I re-entered the world of academia in late 2023 (more on this in another post). It gave me the structure I needed (I like rules) and the outlet to be creative in the middle of the storm. My professors are pretty cool too. Some are extremely demanding, others are incredibly supportive and helpful, but the one common denominator is that they have taught me so much, and I’ve successfully transferred my learnings into my professional life. It’s fun when you connect the dots and realize “Dang! Well look at that…!”
I’m also proud of the fact that my children’s book, We Are Never Alone, is now available! It took many tries to find a publisher, and I’m happy and humbled that my publisher, Livres Agape Books, from Montreal took a chance on me. The story is way out-of-the-box thinking, but I believe it is a story that had to be told. Thanks for getting a copy! I know you won’t be disappointed.
So, what’s next? My second children’s book is already well under way, again supported by Livres Agape Books. In fact, the illustrator/designer is wrapping up the final details, and I can’t wait to share it with you. It’s magical! Though I don’t want to divulge too much, I’ll tell you this: it’s a story about a bee and his newest adventure. He’s in for a big surprise.
Writing is life, and life is writing. That’s what I tell myself over and over again.
I recognize how fortunate I am that I can do what I love. I’m so grateful and thank God for giving me the means to do it.
Until next time.
